I’ve had some time to do more DIY lately. I haven’t been selling as many of my homemade products. That’s bad news for my wallet, but it’s been good for my time. Here are some of the DIY projects I’ve found that I love this week! (The title of each tutorial will take you to the instructions for that project!)
DIY Two-Tone Drip Nail Wraps: Paint it on, cut it out, and enjoy. This shows how to get the pattern and what materials you will need (and probably already have) to make the nail wraps.
Alice in Wonderland Style Stacked Teacup Lamp: I collect teapots. I have them lined up above the cabinets in my kitchen and I’m always on the lookout for more.
Lemonade Lip Balm: I make organic lip balms, but I haven’t tried to make a lemonade kind. I wonder if this could be modified into a creamy sugar scrub.
DIY Craft Desk: I would love one of these in my sewing room to store my massive amount of yarn. I could see making one for our entertaining area in the basement as well as an island with wine cubbies on the sides.
Lego Storage Display: I have a 4 foot tall set of modular drawers for the kids to keep their legos in right now. This is a fun way to empty out the mini-figure drawer a bit and put them on display. We already have shelves up to display their bigger projects. With our local Lego store having their own make-a-minifigure station, I bet the boys could fill these up fast.
If you have a DIY that you’ve done or that you’ve found on the web, feel free to link it up below and it may end up featured on our next roundup!
