What To Do Other Than Video Games

Everyone who enjoys video games frequently has Googled this question at one point or another, but the answers are usually pretty shallow.  Below are 53 things you can do without video games that are entertaining or fulfilling.  This is going to be an ever-growing and changing list so if you have an idea to add, let me know in the comments!

  • Get a DSLR and learn photography skills (this one is my favorite DSLR to start with)
  • Learn to edit photos
  • Go for a jog
  • Sew something
  • Make something practical from polymer clay
  • Make something decorative from polymer clay (FIMO nail art bow tutorial here)
  • Go fishing
  • Go hiking
  • Write a short story
  • Start a novel
  • Research something that interests you
  • Make something out of wood
  • Make something out of leather
  • Check tutorials on Youtube for something you’ve wanted to learn to do
  • Work on a complicated Lego set (The LEGO Architecture sets are great for adults)
  • Write a letter
  • Read a book
  • Take a cake decorating class
  • Create a scrapbook
  • Find a new tv show to watch
  • Create a blog about something you’re passionate about (even if it’s the games!)
  • Start a vlog
  • Learn to use different kinds of software proficiently
  • Sketch house designs on graph paper (you can get nice graph books if you want somewhere to keep them)
