Take short piece of cabinet and make sure it has steady top. Paint it in nice modern color, which will match the rest items in the room, you want to put it in. You can put the DVD or any other player you have underneath the TV.

You can give special old and cozy look of your living room or bedroom as you take a sewing machine which should not be working, because it will be for decoration only. Place a counter on top of at least four drawer cabinets. You can use special techniques and add the look of an antique to it. Put some sewing supplies here and there to make the decoration authentic.
